Dissolution presents works by Lasha Tchrelashvili for his first solo exhibition in Georgia.

 

Born in Tbilisi and based in Berlin, Tchrelashvili uses the painting process to think. Sometimes he’s distracted, but other time he’s fully immersed in his craft. As he observes his thinking, the painting appears on the canvas, an analysis of his internal state, his spiritual state and his position relative to the universe.

 

The emotional and conceptual dialogue goes beyond his own internal world. Through this first solo show in his home country of Georgia, Tchrelashvili brings his watercolor drawings from 2018 and 2020 as well as his large, colorful mixed media abstract works from the present year.
